We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the Christine B. Foundation (CBF) Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is passionate about improving the lives of people facing cancer and committed to expanding access to healthy food, nutrition support, and community connection, we invite you to submit a nomination.
At CBF, we believe that nutrition, healthy food, and community connection should be an essential part of cancer care. As we enter our next stage of growth, we are seeking board members who bring diverse perspectives, leadership experience, strong relationships, and expertise that can help strengthen CBF’s impact and long-term sustainability.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome nominations from individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and experiences. This year, we are especially seeking candidates who:
Bring advanced finance and financial leadership experience, including nonprofit finance, investments, financial planning, audit, or risk management.
Bring government relations or public policy experience, particularly in healthcare, nutrition, social services, reimbursement, or public funding.
Bring resource development and advancement experience, including major gifts, corporate or foundation partnerships, donor cultivation, campaigns, or philanthropic networks.
Have demonstrated leadership in healthcare, business, philanthropy, government, education, or the nonprofit sector.
Bring strong relationships and the ability to convene, collaborate, advocate, and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
Have a strong commitment to CBF’s mission and the communities we serve.
You can nominate yourself or someone else. All nominees should be aligned with CBF’s mission, values, and Board Member Profile.

Nominations will be reviewed as they are received, with selected candidates invited for further conversations as part of the Board’s recruitment process. New Board members may begin onboarding as early as January 2027.
